From Coursework to a Job-Relevant Example

A course project can be useful application evidence when you explain the problem and your contribution. Start with the task in plain language rather than assuming the reviewer knows the course or assessment rubric.
Identify the skill on display
Choose a part of the project that relates to the role. That might be organizing information, writing an explanation, implementing a feature or testing a result. Explain why that part matters to the task.
Show the working material
Include a small example, the expected output and instructions for checking it. If the original project contains private or licensed material you cannot share, create a separate synthetic demonstration and identify it as such.
Explain a decision
Describe an alternative you considered and the reason for your choice. Include a mistake or revision if it helps explain how you worked. Give the reviewer enough context to understand how that decision affected the example.
Use the advertised role requirements to keep the application focused.
