Turning a Technical Skill Into Reviewable Evidence
By STEADYWRK Team
Choose a skill you want a reviewer to assess and build an example that makes it visible. The example can be small, but its purpose and result should be clear.
Connect the example to the requirement
For a writing requirement, show a concise explanation for a defined reader. For a technical requirement, show the relevant code and how to run a meaningful check. Explain your contribution if the project involved other people.
Include a revision
Show a problem you found after the first version and explain the change you made. A before-and-after example can reveal how you test and respond to feedback without requiring a claim about commercial results.
Make inspection easy
Use a readable README, working links and synthetic example data. Remove credentials and private material. Check the project from a clean browser or environment before sharing it.
Compare this evidence with the role's stated requirements. Choose the evidence that directly demonstrates the skill the application asks for.
