Turning a Service Idea Into a Testable Product Question
By STEADYWRK Team
Start with a person and a task they need to complete. Write the question the product is meant to answer before deciding which technology should support it.
Describe the current uncertainty
Identify the information the person lacks and what they need to decide next. Keep a proposed feature separate from an observed need. If you are using a fictional scenario, label it as an example.
Build a bounded demonstration
Choose a result that can be inspected without private records or a live commercial transaction. Include what the user sees when information is missing or the request cannot be completed. A good demonstration makes its limits visible.
Review the result with the question in mind
Ask whether the example answers the original question. Record what remains unclear and which change you would test next. Avoid turning one prototype into a claim about another company's strategy or an entire market.
Use STEADYWRK's public product information for the scope of our offers, and evidence references when assessing a documented result.
