About the film
Same Noise starts where every image we make starts: a field of noise. The film holds that field for a minute and lets the work resolve out of it, one field of craft at a time, until all of them are on screen at once.
Then the tiles become a mosaic of Jordan, fall back into noise, and open onto the Treasury at Petra. Here, cities were carved into stone. Today, we carve from noise.
