Electrician jobs without the dispatcher games.
Routed commercial service calls with clean scope, clean photos, and clean payouts. No more chasing a middleman for permission to do your job.
Why electricians burn out.
Being handed a vague "lights out in the back room" ticket with no panel info, no site contact, and no photo.
Quoting a clean fix only to have a non-tradesperson override you because "that is not how the last guy did it."
Waiting weeks to get reimbursed for materials you fronted because a property manager wanted it fixed today.
Getting scored on an SLA clock you could not see while the dispatcher lost your reschedule request.
Tools that respect the work.
Every ticket carries panel notes, prior history, site access, and the exact contact on site when you arrive.
Material reimbursement submitted in-app with photos and rolled into the same weekly payout — no separate chase.
SLA clocks are visible to you and the client at the same time. Same data, no surprises.
Scope changes are priced and approved in-app. You never work the second hour unpaid because of a mystery spec.
Questions electricians ask us first.
What license level do I need?
At minimum, the state or municipal license required to legally perform the electrical work on each ticket. Journeyman is typical for service work; master is required in some jurisdictions for permitted work.
Do you only route commercial calls?
Yes. STEADYWRK routes facility-management and commercial light-industrial work. We do not send electricians to residential door knocks.
How do I handle material markups?
Materials are submitted in-app with receipts and a standard markup policy that is transparent before you accept the ticket. No hidden haircuts on your margin.
Can I bring my own apprentice?
Yes, where jurisdiction and client policy allow. You list your team members in your profile and they appear on the work order as part of your crew.
What happens if a client refuses to sign off?
You escalate in-app. Our dispatch team contacts the client directly and mediates with full audit trail — not a phone-tag game where the trail goes cold.
Are there overnight or emergency rates?
Yes. After-hours and emergency tickets carry clearly marked rates that are visible before you accept. You choose whether to take them.
Ready to run clean tickets?
One short application. No resume-black-hole. Real humans review every submission.
