Reviewing an AI-Generated Request Summary
By STEADYWRK Team
Keep the original request beside the generated summary. The review should establish whether the summary represents the supplied information accurately, not whether it sounds polished.
Check the factual fields
Compare names, dates, locations and requested actions with the source. Use synthetic information for a demonstration. If the source omits a detail, the summary should not silently invent it.
Check uncertainty and intent
Look for qualifications such as a tentative date or an unresolved question. Confirm that a suggestion has not become an instruction and that a request has not become a claim of completion. Read the summary from the perspective of someone who cannot see the original.
Keep a correction example
Save an incorrect summary, the explanation of the error and the corrected version. Reuse the example when evaluating a later change. Record the task and conditions with the result.
A successful summary test supports that narrow use case. It does not establish a universal time saving or show that a separate action was carried out.
